The hotel has been recently reformed and is like brand-new. It is clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. The perfect place to have a pleasant stay with family. Recommended if you have children.
The lack of a refrigerator in the room isn't really a problem, since the staff of the hotel don't bother to store small size food for you in their refrigerator.
Conveniently located at an unbeatable price. Clean and simple hotel without any frills.
This could potentially be a noisy experience if you are less lucky with your neighbors. My small room was on the top floor which is a five floor walkup, with not elevator.
The staff at breakfast were very friendly. The room was small, although clean and fairly comfortable. The hotel is well positioned for central London and close to public transport.
The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The decor of the room was a bit tired and the furniture looked a little cheap. I suppose that is what you get for your money as the hotel is reasonably priced. It was lovely to have breakfast included but the menu was extremely limited. It was only on the third day when I heard someone order something off the menu and get it, that I realised I could have done the same - I wish I had known that.
Convenient location for easy access to all areas of London. Good selection of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Excellent breakfast.
A personal thing - I would prefer a duvet on the bed rather than sheet and blanket.
The personal attention of the staff. They were very helpful with directions, travel advice, restaurant choices, and sight seeing ideas.Very friendly. Family run.
The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful to us, arranging taxis, suggesting restaurants, public transit, etc. Also, the location was quiet, convenient to Victoria Station.
Dorm-like hotel room set up, furnishings.
Great English breakfast and good location. Staff welcoming. Room ready to use.
Free wi- fi would have been a real plus- but free wi-fi seems to be scarce in most London places (unlike France). This is only a very minor issue.
Friendly, informal, welcoming owners for whom nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is well maintained and scrupulously clean. Breakfast is quality not quantity but still plentiful. Superb location in unspoilt part of Pimlico - lots of 'real' shops, a market, restaurants and non-touristy bars on your doorstep. Excellent public transport links - No.24 bus to Victoria and the West End right outside and Victoria Station/Tube just 10mins walk away. Have always thoughtfully placed me on Ground/1st Floor when travelling with elderly Mother. Not the Ritz but I would never stay anywhere else in London!
I can't fault it
The cleanliness is exceptional, as is the service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with prompt service. It was our second time of staying there and we will certainly stay again. The friends who we travelled with were similarly impressed, and plan on staying there again. Luna Simone deserve their high rating - excellent!
Great location because the bus 24 picked you up right across the street. Very helpful staff! Friendly too! Breakfast was good and the service was good also. Bus 24 takes you to Victoria underground station, to Westminster Abbey, etc.
location and price excellent, great breakfast and attentive staff.High spec finish to hotel and rooms
slightly small room but average for area in London
London centre is very accessible from Pimlico Tube Station. As this is only a 3 minute walk from the hotel it is an ideal location for sight seeing. Make use of the Oyster card for tube travel. The hotel is absolutely fine although anyone with leg problems might like to ask a few questions before booking. All in all thoroughly recommended
The hotel was quiet and private. Well located with a number of local transport systems nearby. Friendly staff who were very helpful.
The staff was very helpful. The room and bathroom was clean. The location is quite convenient to Victoria Station.
The reseptionist helped me very much with direction of my trip, map, and safe. But if you have a large suit-case and you travel alone you would placed at high floor (another for couples) - but they don't have an elevator!!! I was at 4th floor (in England you have a ground floor also, remember) and it was a good training...
